Award-Winning author of Growing Happy Kids
Maureen is a leader in helping highly sensitive children thrive. Her popular blogs on Psychology Today, and for the PBS series, this emotional life, have focused on helping children become inwardly stronger and happier. Unique about Maureen is her experience working directly with kids globally from the Bronx to the base of the Himalayas. In 2007, Maureen was invited to work with Tibetan refugee children in India as well as study with his holiness the fourteenth Dalai Lama. Her book, Growing Happy Kids, begins with her journey to Asia and being surrounded by monkeys (which really happened!).
